In 2004, a few people in Second Life had the inspiration to try to hold a real life fundraising event in a virutal world, and Relay For Life In Second Life was born.
In a short period of time, this relay has grown into one of the cornerstone community events in this flagship virtual community, and we would not be far from the truth in saying that the Relay For Life In Second Life has become the largest virtual fundraiser ever!
That same year, the core of the Relay Rockers team began its association with the Relay For Life In Second Life. At first known only as the T1Radio-dAlliez Estates team, the Relay Rockers have been leaders in the effort to raise funds and awareness in and out of Second Life.
